1. Crashing Apps
This sign may also be confused with application problems. Maybe you are using an application and suddenly the application crashes and this is not how the application operates before. This should ring an alarm that your phone may be infected with virus.
However, if your phone suddenly crashes, it does not mean it has virus unless it occurs repeatedly. Almost all viruses deal with applications, when they invade a smartphone and as a result applications may not work as they used to.
2. Battery Life
This sign may be confused with having a bad battery condition or perhaps an old battery condition. When your phone is infected with virus, the battery gets drained much faster than usual.
Nowadays, a lot of smartphone are created with a great battery quality that some can last up to two days on a single charge. If you realised that on a single charge and without much engagement with your phone, your phone battery get drained at a fast rate, you should be suspicious of virus infection.
3. Greater Usage of Data
One of the first signs to show that your phone is infected with virus is the excessive consumption of it data which is simply because the virus is doing it job in the context.

When your phone overheats, it may be as a result of virus infection. This may also be confused with an old battery situation or engaging in intense processes on phone.
If you get to know that your smartphone is slow in operations and heats up when you do not use it much, it is most likely infected with a virus. Virus uses smartphone capacity, therefore putting a serious tension on the phone and as a result it becomes difficult to remove.

When your smartphone’s performance is not up to per as it was before, this is a sign of virus. At times poor performance may not always mean virus invasion. The reason may be that you may have overwhelmed your smartphone.

If any of your friends, relatives or any person close to you did not use your phone and you suddenly find call logs on your phone or messages you did not authorise, this is a sign of virus infection.
10. Extra Charges on Phone Bill
When you realise that there is a serious billing on your phone, this should ring alarm that your phone is infected with virus.
Some virus send messages themselves and sometimes if they have accomplished there mission they uninstall themselves. Suspicious subscription billing may also indicate that virus has invaded your phone.
